I have oil constantly leaking from atop the engine, but I cannot locate the source. When I last had my intake removed, I could not see any signs to pinpoint the origination of the leak. I would like it stopped ASAP, and need to know if anyone has any ideas. I learned of an old trick to coat the affected area with talcum powder as it will show the source. Perhaps, when the weather here gets better, I will try that. Valve covers are on tight and I am wondering if the leak could be coming from the oil pressure sensor.

Yeah, but where the hell would it be leaking out of there?

 

They usually leak out of the top of the sensor, or where the plastic crimps to the metal body of the sensor. The bad thing is it's almost impossible to see.
Do you have a small mirror? Maybe you can get a look back there. A dental mirror or old make-up compact works well too.
