Default Fuel Pump Advice

So i went to south georgia this weekend, and when i got over 70 mph the truck would start to sputter like it was loosin fuel. Id have to mash on the gas to get it to stop. Its only gonna be gettin worse. Ive checked the relay and it was replaced about 4000 miles ago so i dont think its that. Anyone know a good place to get a reliable fuel pump thats not too expensive?

Hey Motorbrreath,
Seems like a bunch of us are having fuel pump problems.
A couple folks recommended http://www.partsamerica.com/
and http://stores.ebay.com/GLOBAL-AUTOMOTIVE
Don't have info on reliability.

By the way, did you drive your truck through the rain before the sputtering started happening? I had a 95 Jeep that started doing the same thing when I drove it in the rain. I found the big *** connector to the computer on the firewall was letting water in and shorting pins together. The temporary fix was disconnect the battery, take the wife's hairdryer and blow dry the pins on both the connector and the computer. The permanent fix was to carefull seal the connectors with RTV sealant after drying the pins out. It seems those connectors Dodge used would dry up and shrink to the point where they don't seal out the water.
Good luck with that one.

Watch out what you get. Someone in my family kept on having fuel pump problems. He had to hammer on it just to keep it running. Sounded horrible. The first time, he had something with his connection was bad, but the rest of the times it was just it went out. The only thing we say is to fill it up before it gets under half tank. That has helped for us at least.
