Hey everyone, I was out 4 wheelin with some buddys the other day and dropped off the side of a pond bank when my pinion snapped off in differential! In the front!Anyone know what size the ring gear is 8.25, 8.5, 8.75 idk i havent fulled with a dodge much this is my first ram! If anyone knows jus let me know asap need to hurry so i can get back on the trails!

 

It's a DANA 44 in the front. Lots of gear options available.

I also wanna gear it down to at least 4:10. Doyou know what size the ring gear is? Thats what im havin a problem lookin for?

 

not to venture off subject, but do you seriously have a 2 inch leveling kit on top of the skyjacker kit? the lift kit should level the truck itself.

 

Yea i know i figured it would to but it didnt!Even after putingthe leveling kiton it still likes some to be even its jus got a slight curve know and plus i went from 35 to 36 and they rubbed so i put that on there to help it out. It dont rub even in the bigest bind know!

You snaped the pinion? Not bad, I'm suprised it didn't take a shaft out first or snap some teeth.

Where'd you snap it at? I assume it was at the neckdown? Throw some pics up if you can.

 

In my garage right now is the part you need, I comlplete carrier with ring gear and all. I had to change out my carrier when I went to 4.56 gears. it has a 3.55 gear on it right now, if you are in need, I will find out how much shipping will cost and its yours. I have no need for it since I went big.

it is the front, if you are runnin stock gearing it should work for you. Look at the stamp on the axle or maybe its a tag, I cant remember, but if you are in need of a carrier and 3.55 for the front, it is what I have, send adress via pm and I will work on figuring out what the shipping costs.
