Default TPS Mod?

Hey guys,
I was attempting to perform the TPS mod but checked the voltage first. It read 0.86V. Will this over voltage also create a sluggish reaction from the throttle? My truck is a 97 Ram 1500 Ext. Cab with the 5.2 engine. I have installed a K&N CAI and the 180degree thermo. No other mods. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, my truck is a dog.

Voltage should be around .7-.72. It'll help throttle response, but won't make up for improper gearing to tire size, or other possible issues.

Thanks,
So you are saying that this 0.86V is bad? And I think my tire size is pretty much stock-275's.

.7~.75 is ideal, your measurement is not bad, just at one end of the spec.

I did this mod too, and it does make a difference. I set mine at exactly .75v and it set my check engine light off. So I reset the computer and changed it to .70v and so far it is doing great! The throttle response is a lot better!!

I wonder if I reset it at .75V again and reset the computer if it would accept the new voltage without setting a code? And would that make anymore performance increase?
