I went to a jiffy lube last night and they topped off my trans with about a quart of regular trans fluid(dexron mercon III), I have synthetic fluid in there now. is this a bad idea should I have this flushed? please help. Thanks. oh and I have a 1995 dodge ram 1500 4x4

 

its not gonna hurt mixing syn with "regular" trans fluid what bothers me is why they did not put in atf +4 , mopar atf +4 is a full synthetic , i would go back and bitch about it , i hate when places do that , like jack williams tire , you go to get tires on next thing there under the hood ? wtf for !!! I have a 96 only use atf +4...

Do yourself favor and don't go to jiffy lube. I went there once and they ****ed up my electrical system somehow. I don't even know why they were messing with it. I almost got a dui because I was driving home from the bar later that night and one of the locals pulled me over to let me know I didn't have any tail lights. I know a few other people who have gotten screwed over going to jiffy lubes. I also remember seeing a big thing on the news about how they scam people, by telling people they're going to flush their transmission (something that doesn't even need done on a normal car and they know it) and then they just don't do it and charge people like 80 dollars.

 

Yea it's the first and the last I recently had back surgery and didn't really have a choice but thanks for your input.
