Default sputtering and stalling HELP

hey guys im new on the dodge forum. since this is my first dodge. its a 1995 Ram 1500 318. heres my problem. if i ease into the gas it will drive normally. if i even tap on the tap or hit it a lil hard the truck will sputter backfire and want to stall out so i get outta the gass quick and ease back into it. i dont get it ?! i put new plugs tested the wires, new map sensor. the truck has a new tranny from last year so i dont think it would be the tranny. please help!?! any ideas are welcome

i was having the same problem with mine at wide open throttle. you may need a new coil. i had the same problem with a nissan car that i had, it was contributed to the alternator. the car would sputter hard like it bounced off the rev limiter, then it would loose all power and try to stall. my truck though will just spit and sputter close to 4k rpm and then smooth out. you could have the alternator tested for free at autozone. have you changed the coil? i bought my truck from a used lot and they did not do a tune up on it at all. my coil was all rusted at the top when i removed the wire.
