easy or hard?
front break rotor change. how do the rotors come off and changing the lugs the the new rotor.
how many have done it. is it just better to have the shop do this work.

depends on if you have someone who can throw in a helping hand with the work if you have never packed wheel-bearings before. but, still it all depends on model and year and you might want read up on the process and go through the motions in your head and then do the motions in the air (hey i know it sounds wierd but, it works and i do it all the time and then when i am working on the truck i can get everything done fairly quickly). if i, a 17 year old kid, canpicked these tricks up from the old-timers then it has to work, right?
just replaced my front rotors and pads on saturday. it took my all afternoon cause i was by myself and i had to keep putting it back together to go get tools and stuff i forgot. it should only take about an hour or so. just amek sure you have a c clamp to press the piston back in the caliper. and a correct size alan wrench to get the caliper off. but other than that it just whee, then caliper then the rotor jsut pulls right off. you may wanna spray some pb blaster or wd-40 if its kidna stuck. but mine just fell off.
and dont do it in the dark unless you got a big bro with abig flashlight. haha thats a different story

omk guys I am thinking that you all have a differant truck then me my rotor is not a fall off type it is pressed onand the lugs are pressed on to it. Am I way off? is it still an easy fix
3/4 ton rotors are behind the hub. PITA
You gotta pull the hubs and pound out the studs to replace rotors. best to soak it all down with penetrating fluid if it's never been appart. You might need a slide hammer to get it off.
