Default Towing and transcoolers

OK, I have been asking (thanks you guys, for all the help, thats why this exists) about experiances with towing, and about what to use for extra cooling, and wouldn't you know it, my trans cooler from the factory does not look like anything I have seen here.
My trans lines do not go through the radiator at all. They go to a large cooler mounted in front of the radiator. I don't want to cut any of the factory hard lines, so I think I will just add a fan, and see how that goes. Temp gauge too.
Thank you again!

p.s. I have a 2001 1500 4x4 5.9

Can you post a pic or a link to a pic. I have never seen a factory trans cooler that doesn't run through the rad. (on a late model vehicle)
Have you owned since new?

Even if you have a factory transmission cooler it runs throught the radiator first.
Mind runs Trans, radiator, stock cooler, aux cooler, trans.

the stock one is on the back of the a/c condensor. I mean you could install one there aftermarket butI don't now why anyone would. It'd be a pain in the *** and it wouldn't work as well as mounting it on the front.
