Default snaps or velcro cover

Hello all and thanks for all of the good information that I have received already. I am looking at purchasing a TONNEAU COVER and not sure of what is better, the snaps or the velcro. I am going with the no drilling as this will be the easiest to install. What is everyones opinions out there and what is everyone using. Thanks again.

Hate snaps they rust and peel out of the material. Velcro I dont care for easier for others to get to your stuff. Not that they are all to secure in the first place. I had one that just lifted. Had to lower tailgate to release levers to open. Loved it.

Snaps SUCK, go with the velcro. Access is the brand of tonneau cover on my truck, i'd recomend it if your looking for a good high quality soft tonneau cover.

I have the snaps. I think their alright but like everything you'll have problems. I have about 3-4 snap buttons which are broken so if you get snaps be careful when taking them off.

I have a truxedo cover w/ velcro and I love it. Snaps can be a pain in the a$$ sometimes. Allthough I will admit some of the velcro wore out on mine and I had to reolace it. No big deal though.

I have a sportmaster tonneau cover with metals snaps and love it. There is a quality difference in snap covers and sportmaster is the best in comparision to other covers IMO. The snaps are metal and have set screws to hold them in place in the rails so you don't have to chase them all over when putting it back on. I also have a buddy with an access velcro roll up cover and he likes it as well and I don't think he has had any problems. If you plan to open it a lot and money doesn't matter go with the access roll up. If you want something cheaper in price but good quality go with the sportmaster snap cover. My dad had one cover on 2 different trucks for a total of 6 years, didn't take care of it properly and still didn't have any problems and it was taken on/off frequently to pull a goose neck trailer. Good warranty people too. He broke a corner piece onthe mounting framedue to his own fault and they sent him a new piece for free, no questions asked. I'll support sportmaster. They also have a velcro roll up cover as well.
