The truck has been actin funny for the past week or so. When you drive on the highway and level out the throttle it feels like its gettin starved for fuel. A heavy vibration almost likeits sputtering. When youpush the gas more it runs fine.It just recently stopped cranking up and it would take 10-12 primes (on-off) to get the truck to start. So i thought fuel pump maybe... Replaced that today and its still doin it. It drives a little better, but its a BITCH to get cranked. All im gettin is a click sound when i turn the key. Eventually it will crank, but it takes about 10 mins. Im gonna run some seafoam through it tommrow im thinkin maybe some injectors are dirty? Where should go from here fellas?

I'm unclear of your problem. Are you saying it takes 10 mins to crank over?
Or do you have to cycle the key 10 times to prime the pump to get it started?
Did you fix the EGR problem yet?

Both. Ten primes in a row is usually the magic number to get the truck to crank. This process could and usually does take 5-10 mins until she cranks up.

No the egr problem is not fixed yet.

I think maybe you have an ignition switch problem. They are pretty cheaply made.
Probe the small wire on the starter with a test lightwhile somebody holds the key in the crank position. It should light up. If it does and the engine doesn't crank you probably need a starter.
If it doesn't light up it could be the ign switch, starter relay, neutral safety switch or wiring. Try starting in neutral and see if it cranks better.
Clean batt terminals if they are dirty. Does the fuel pump buzz when you cycle the key? It should.
Your egr could be your surging -starving problem.

Update:

alright this mornin she wasntas hard to get cranked, didnt have to prime much at all and it cranked. I definately have a starter problem. I ran some sea foam through the gas and it has cleared up some of my sputtering and hesitation but not all. When the throttle levels out and it starts to sputter, could this be a TPS problem? I need some direction as where to go next...

More like the IAC. Clean it up and report back your results.

motorbrreath,
will the truck start/easily if you hold the throttle down slightly?

Checking & cleaning the IAC suggestion is very sound.

Make sure there are no vacuum leaks, especially around the MAP.

As others have mentioned, the EGR can cause all the symptoms listed but I am assuming it was fixed already with new parts.

If the problem persists perhaps pull the fuel rail and check the little screens inside the injector tops.
