Default Wont Shift

I bought my truck over a year ago and its had a problem shifting from the beginning. During everyday driving its fine, but if i stick my foot in it, she wont shift. She'll redline and bounce off a rev limiter. When I let up, it shifts. I took it to my local dodge dealership, where they told me it was the torque converter, so i had it replaced. Nothing changed. I was told I could replace the transmission, but I dont have that kind of money. Thats why Ive let it go so long. When I ask questions no one at the shop will give me answers. Other than, they'll be happy to do the work (and drain my bank account). Can anyone help me? Has anyone else had this problem?

I've also been told this is just a dodge thing, but I know alot of people with dodges and they dont have this problem. I've also heard "Should've bought a Chevy"more times than I care to count.

Check your throttle cable for adjustment at the throttle body. Pop off the cable it should line up with the stud on the throttle shaft. If it's too loose or too tight it won't line up when closed.
I also seem to remember a TSB about not shifting at WOT I can't remember if the fix was a governor sensor, solenoidor a pcm flash

The next time someone says that "Should've bought a Chevy", ask them "Why, because misery loves company?" Actually, I used to be a die-hard Chevy guy myself. I still like them, but I love Dodge.
