Default 180 degree thermo.

Im sure someone has a writeup of this, but I wasn't able to find anything with "thermostat" or "180" so I'm posting this here. I just wonder what is the required procedures to do this and what benefits some of you have had with it.

Thanks.

Drain radiator
pull thermostat housing
remove old 190* t-stat
install new 180* t-stat
Bolt thermostat housing back together
fill radiator...Done!

yea basically your engine goes form a 195* thermo to a 180* so you basically cool your engine a lot better

you willl need:
blue RTV sealent
180* thermo
gastet ( i used felpro )

I like the t-stats from Napa myself, though I am currently running a Hyperstat from Hypertech.
