Default CYLINDER #5 MISFIRE PART 2

GREETINGS AND SALUTATIONS,
I REQUESTED INFO ON HOW TO CORRECT A CYLINDER #5 MISFIRE AND RECIEVED EXCELLENT INFO ON RE ROUTING THE #5 SPK PLUG WIRE OVER THE VALVE COVER AND AWAY FROM THE #7 WIRE. THIS WORKED FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND THEN RESURFACED. WHEN I CHECKED THE #5 HAD JUMPED BACK OVER SO I MERELY REPOSITIONED IT AND WHALA PROBLEM SOLVED. SINCE THEN IT HAS RE OCCURRED AND THE WIRE WS IN THE RIGHT POSITION. AFTER 3 TIMES OF RESETTING THE CEL I FINALLY PUT THE STOCK WIRE ON AND THIS CORRECTED THE PROBLEM FOR ABOUT 3 WKS. MY QUESTION IS THIS: WHEN I PURCHASED THE JBA HEADER 8MM WIRES MY BEST FRIEND STATED THAT THESE MIGHT CAUSE A PROBLEM AND THAT I SHOULD STICK WITH THE STOCK ONES AND IT LOOKS AS THOUGH HE WAS RIGHT. THIS IS VERY NOTICEABLE DURING WARM UP. I HAVE REPLACED THE IAC VALVE AND BOTH O2 SENSORS, CAP ROTOR, AND SPK PLUGS. I HAVE NO IDEA OF TO CHECK NEXT SHOULD THIS OCCUR AFTER I REINSTALL THE STOCK WIRESET BACK ON.
ALSO I GET A STUMBLE AFTER 1 MINUTE INTO WARMUP THAT LASTS ABOUT 10 -15 SECONDS ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS?
MY TRUCK IS A 1998 RAM 1500 4X4 SPORT 5.9LV8 ENGINE AUTO TRANS ( SEE SIGNATURE BELOW) THANKS

I believe the JBA wires have a ceramic boot. If you crack the boot by banging it on something, the spark can arc thru the crack in the boot. Actually, it can arc easier because the amountof silicone covering the ceramic boot islessthan a silicone only boot.

I would just crack open the wallet and spring for a set of MSD wires, you shouldn't have a problem with those. You can pretty much ignore the TSB with a really good insulated set of 8.5mm wires.

Also, I think you can snake that #5 wire under the PCV valve to hold it in place.

well i re installed the dodge wires and did snake #5 wire as stated and checked the spk plug which is ok. My friend stated that the #5 injector might be clogged which can also cause this condition. Also while driving I had to make a stop. When i restarted the engine the cel was off however this am it came on again. We are going to check the injectors today and I'll give you an update. They said dodge is notorious for injectors getting clogged and that all they to is take then out tap them and the stuff falls out then they reinstall them and they run great.??????????
