Factory LSD rebuildable??

I have 99 2500 4x4 with the stock LSD. It seems to be less than spectacular and I was wondering if the clutches can be replaced. I have not seen any listing anywhere for the parts.

Yes you should be able to rebuild the LSD carrier.I believe youhave a DANA60 rear axle in there.

I'm not sure if I have the Dan 60 or 70. I have the 8600 pound Gross Vehicle Weight 3/4 ton. My guess would be the 60. I need to check it.
