Default IS there any difference in the beds?

I just bought a double by single roll bar off of a Ram Sport and will be installing it on my Ram Off Road. A buddy said it might not fit because the beds might be different which I dont think is true but I figured I would ask. So are they any different or should it install fine?

Thanks for any help.

I dont believe you will have a problem. If all the bedcaps interchange from year to year I dont see the roll bar being any different. What I am not sure of is ifyou are trying to swap from a shortbox to a full size. All depends on thedistance from the front of the bed to the wheel well.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking too cause I know all the bed accessories I have looked at work for every dodge ram 94-01 but I figured I would check. Neither truck is a longbed, they are both the shortbeds.

Only time it would matter is step-side and fleet side. As far as I know, Dodge didn't make a step-side bed for these year trucks. Long bed or short bed makes no difference, the beds are all the same.

no, it won't work, you should just take your lose and give me the roll bar...hahaha...just kinding, you'll be fine. The only difference you would need to be concerned about is if the other truck was a long bed becuase the kickers would be longer if they mount to the wheel wells. but as you stated they are both shortbeds...you'll be just fine. don't forget to post some pics, and if you know what brand it is

Dang it, whats your address I will have it shipped first thing tomorrow, LOL. Preciate the help. I will install it soon and definately post some pics. As for the brand I am not sure, I know it is one of the bolt together ones, but the guy I bought it from bought his Ram with it on it and just didnt want it, so I got it for a great price with 4 KC's already mounted.
