right from ground to buttom of bumper, front the same way (kinda guess between the bottom of bumper and the top of the valance) Number gives us a better idea. to much guessing with just pics...but if i was a guessing man you have a spacer up front with stock shocks and springs and the rear you got after market shocks with maybe a AAL cause of the long U bolts around the axle.. more then likely u got a leveling kit thats a 4" lift , thats with the off road package already on it..

Ok I measured 28" from the ground to the bottom of the rear bumper. Then I measured from the ground to the bottom of the front fascia and go 20.5". And then I got 80" from the ground to the top of the cab. I wasnt sure what you meant about the front? I just measured from the ground to where the fascia began. Was I suppose to go up with the fascia meets the hood or something? I got to go out very quickly, ill be back in 30-45 min. or so. Hope those numbers help!!

I think you have a stock off-road edition Ram that has a 3" spacer on top of the coil. That means you have 5" of total lift (which explains the ease that you fit 35's). Even if it is only a 2" spacer, that would still be 4" of lift. Not sure the off-road edition track bars were different then a stock ram, but I don't think so. I recommend you get the Thuren bar that will accomidate 4 to 5" of lift. That's what I would do if I were in your shoes.

Might want to look into a drop pitman too, and maybe some adjustable control arms.

Man, that's like a breathe of fresh air hearing some conclusive answers on what the lift is. I bought this truck used, so it was really tough to know what lift it was. So the Off_Road package comes stock with a 2" lift? And then you think I have a 3" lift. So in all I have a 4-5" lift going on?

I would agree with Silver. Your suspension looks bone stock besides the spacers for the front springs and the Rancho shocks in the rear. There might be lift shackles in the rear but its impossible to tell without seeing them.

I would call Thuren again and let them know what you have now that you know a little more about what is under the truck. Probably go with the 5" lift track bar and like Silver said, get a dropped pitman arm. That will help reduce the bump steer that you might be getting now while the track bar will center the axle much better and improve the handeling. Make sure you check or have checked the rest of the steering components. 35" tires and the lift can cause allot of havoc under there and wear parts out allot faster than normal.

IIRC, the off road package has a 2" spacer, your spacers look to be 3", measure them and you'll know. Forget the "total lift" thing, you only need to know what amount of suspension lift you have up front, from what I see it looks like stock coils on a 3" spacer. Look for a tag on the coils, if there is one than get the coil chart out (top of the forum)and see if you can id them as being a 3/4 ton spring... they look like stock springs to me. 3/4 ton springs will look just like the ones you have however they will give you 2~2.5" of lift and a much harsher ride.

I'm pretty sure off-road edition rams did not use a spacer from the factory, only a 2" lifted coil. So that means his spacer would add to what would already be a 2" lifted coil.

nope they sure dont come factory with a spacer.. stiffer spring yes. in the rear with the 3"block (standard) . never seen a spacer that covers part of the spring (ebay item) a cheap lift comes with many problems..

What do you mean by ebay item?? Ok, so I'll go measure the spacer, and I'll go look at the tag on the coil spring. Now you guys are convinced that the 5" adjustable trackbar from Thuren will work on this truck? Also, I had some questions on the other parts you guys suggessted. The pitarms and the control arms? Are those something that I urgently need to tackle? Right now I am focused on affording the trackbar and installation of it. Then I want to get an allignment for the truck right afterwards. What are the other things that need to be addressed? I want to make sure that there cant be anything else going on in the front end that could cause damage over time. Thanks again guys so far for all of your help, your cooperation has been very useful to me, and it's going to help me in getting this trucks front end right, appreciated!
