Default Original motor?

What would be a good what to check if its the original motor in my truck??? Or if my odometer was screwed with...

Heres the thing...

My truck says I have about 90,000 miles right, and Ive always found it funny that it always smokes when it starts up, and just recently I hear what I think to be timing chain noise... It always runs very strong, starts nice, runs smooth ect... but im seriously wondering if this is an original motor...

Ive herd from people that timeing chains dont usually make noise untill around 150+ miles on these motors, and theres no way my truck was abused to bad that the motor would be equil to a motor with 150k...

I got a carfax report when I bought it, and it said the milage was right... but...

Is there a certain number I can get off the motor and compare to someother number say on the frame to see if its origonal?

Thanks
