no muffler, haha! depends on what you want, exhaust sound is totally subjective. I run a magnaflow muffler on mine and love it, for some it's not loud enough. They make glass packs, flowmaster 10's are pretty loud.

Yeah don't know anything about the Thrush either. My brothers runs a true dual with dynomax bullets, and it's very loud. It doesn't sound stupidly loud just driving around town, but when he is flooring it, OMG, it is so loud, it's awesome! But as aim4squirrels said, it's all subjective. Personally, I feel flowmaster offers the best muffler. They are reasonably cheap, they have a beautiful tone and can be quiet to very loud. I run the flowmaster super 44, and it is rediculous, it's louder than my brothers f-350 with a true dual and dynomax bullets (his is essentially straight piped). Magnaflow can be very loud too, but generally in my experience, they are usually just packed with tone as opposed to pure decibal volume. I assume you like loud since you are running a single chambered flowmaster muffler on there right? Or are you trying to get something loud but not as loud as the current flowmaster? Give us a little more of what you want and then I am sure people can help you out in finding the right muffler.

I want it to be loud but sound good if that makes any sence. I have been watching videos on youtube and stuff and reading up on the flowmaster super 44. I love the way those sound from what I can tell from my laptop speakers. All of the ones I have seen have tips all the way out the back. I am a fan of dumping the exhaust before the rear end since I do the whole lowered truck thing. I think it looks cleaner when your close to the ground. If I went with the super 44 would it be better to dump it with tips or just nothing? Thanks guys

I don't know, but I'm a tip guy. I think they just finish off the look of an exhaust system, and they also pronounce the final tone of the exhaust which is nice. If you don't want to expose the exhaust, then it's probaby stupid to run tips. I'm sure she'll be echoing off the bed and the ground plently, and people won't see the pipes so it'd probaby be silly to buy tips. You don't care for the dual side exit, kind of like an svt lightning? I think that looks great as well when the two pipes come out the passenger/driver side before the tire on lowered sport trucks, looks great. I think you should go with the super 44, obviously I'm bias[8D], but I have it, and I just think it sounds amazing. It's loud, obnoxious, and sounds different from any ofthe other flowmasters. It also is the best flowing two chambered muffler flowmaster offers at the moment, you can't beat that

I haven't really thought about the side exit alot. Thats something I will have to consider now. Im pretty sure the super 44 is what Im going with. I will talk to my muffler shop about the details. I'll post pics once I get the funds for the exhaust and if I can figure out how to post em'.[&:] Thanks alot guys!

That sounds mint brother, I think you'll like that dual side exit look. It's also nice because you can reflect exhaust off peoples cars[8D]. Having it underneath your truck is kind of like owning yourself all the time lmao. I just love the look of a lowered street truck with two sweet angle tips coming out the side together before the tire making all this raspy *** loud tone, just sounds sick! The 44 will do you wonders bro. Having the tips exposed will do two things as well. You'll enjoy the new sound, and you'll enjoy the new look of them shiny stainless steel tips, will look sick! Cant wait to see the pix and how she roars!
