Stock or modified? How did you use the loctite?

there is a locking nut or bolt setup out there but I've never used it. check with Summitracing.com and see what they have.

there bolts. the heads were replaced by the dealer when i bought it so im sure thats why this all started. as far as the loctite ive done it twice but i make sure the motor is completely cool then i take one out at a time apply it to the threads and then reinstall. i dont use the truck for roughly 12 hrs after just to make sure it cures. but i also dont want it to seize in there. i considered the locking washer idea. and $50 is expensive for bolts granted i may not have much of a choice. oh and the truck is stock other than the tps mod and a 180 t stat but thats really arent what your talking about as far as modified im sure.i plan on going with headers when i have to do my exhaust but until my exhaust goes it will stay as is.

Had this same problem with mine after I replaced my cyl heads. Well, actually only on one head but anyway : what I did was get all brand new bolts and studs and nuts and washers from the dealer and new Fel-Pro gaskets from NAPA and put it together with loc-tite and haven't had any further problem.
