Default ? for all the lowering experts

I have a 2001 single cab Dodge ram 2wheel drive and I just bought a DJM 2/4 drop kit from a 97 Dodge ram SST. It uses springs up front and shackle and hanger in the rear. Will the springs work on my 2001? Please help

Well, DJMs site is only listing applications up to 2000 and then start again at 2002. My thinking for this is because the 2001 has riveted ball joints in the lower control arms and therefore you can't get an adjustable ball joints. You might call DJM directly and see what they say since you are going with springs only. You could also replace the lower control arm with one from a 1999 or older model with a press in ball joint.

What year are the OEM rims from on your truck and are you running a spacer with them or not?

Thanks. Im just gonna try and put the ones I have and see what happens. They look like they will fit.

The wheels are from an '02 or '03. not really sure. No Spacers needed. Had the same wheels on a 2000 also with no problems

Good luck with your lowering project. I just got my 98 back together after having a DJM 4/6 drop kit installed (didn't attempt it myself- involved notching the frame.
Here are a couple of pics:

Your truck looks sweet as hell. I want to do a 4/6 drop on mine but I have a 2001 and not really sure how that would work since nobody makes a 4/5 for mine. I' ll just settle for the 2/4 for now. I only gave $200 for it, couldn't pass it up.

Thanks guys
