Time 4 New Tires
Well its gettin that time of year to buy new tires before the first snow(If we even get one). Now the question is what kind of tire would you guys reccomend. Do i go with an all- terrain tire with like straight tread like yokohamas or different like the BFG's A-T or should i go with a more aggresive tire and get mud tires like BFG mud-terrain?? What is your idea
I LOVE my Yokos in the snow. I quess I'm partial, but they seem to be freakin amazing. I've drive on snow since I was 16 and on many different tires. The yokos are by far the best.
I was recently had the same problem you did. I want somthing as cool and adgressive looking as a mud tire, however I have a highway terrian budget if you know what I mean. Up untill about last week I was looking to order myself a set of Firstone Destination MT's they are a great very agressive looking MT tire that is good in both the mudd and the snow which is very rare. However I didnt end up getting those due to my low budget, saving for a new snowmobile, rather I just order the kuhmos I have now because they where on specail $94.50 a tire cant really go wrong for that price....

I've been thinking about these.......http://www.hankooktireusa.com/produc...il.asp?pid=358
They are supposed to be great in the snow for a more off-road oriented tire. Anybody have first hand experience with the Nankook's?
