how many make payments?
I pay myself for a vehicle as well each month,
But, I plan on buyingmy next vehicle and getting 0% financing. Then the money I've been paying myself can sit in my account and earn money for the next 5 years, not the banks. The best part is, if you are really good with money, you canwork it backwards and see how much money you need tostart with in order to earn enough interest to pay off the vehicle at the end of 5 years. You'd be amazed at the "discount" you've given yourself on a 3%interest account.

Got $7,000 from totaling my Firebird. Put $4,500 down on my $6,000 Ram, put $500 intotires, rims, highflow cat, and muffler. Paying $125 a month for 18 months. That leaves $2,000 for repairs, probably the transmission.
