So, i was installing the new MAP sensor a few minutes ago. the **** on the bottom side of it that the hose connect to from the throttle body broke off. broke off pretty easily. when i looked at the old one i pushed on that **** and it wasnt going to break as easily.

anyway, the question is, is there anything anyone can think of to save the sensor? truck wont run without that piece connected properly. the piece that broke off is still MIA.

im thinking im going to have to bite the bullet and buy another one though.

any ideas appreciated

 

I would just buy another one to make sure that you have no problems from trying to fix the broken part.

 

bring it back to the store.. just explain.. im sure if there cool enough about it that thell hook you up
