It is a worthwhile exercise
to sit down and calculate
how much of an MPG increase it would take
to pay for that differential work.
It is also worthwhile to consider
that the 4.56 diff gears will 'mark' your truck
as one that has been driven hard or abused
and to most knowledgeable buyers (especially dealership employees)
will mean they won't pay as much
for a "rode hard and put up wet"
pickup that may soon break down on them.

well since your truck alredy has a 5 in syspention lift, 2 or 3 in body lift (i dont rember what one) and 37in tires, i think its alredy marked, atleast if you were to ever trade it in it wouldent be gutless lol, desides your not planning to get rid of it anytime soon lol
What gears would you all go with, 4.56 or 4.88? Im thinkin 4.88 would be better.

I drive 40 miles Monday through Friday for work on highway, and another 60 miles every 2 weeks on highway, but other then that its mostly city driving.
Not trying to insult youwhen I say this, just want to learn the most I can, but what does it matter on how often its highway, city, or 4x4ing when choosing gears?

If you need the truck once a month for recreation
and drive it on a daily commute
consider buying two floor jacks
and a second set of 'street tires' chosen for low rolling resistance and good stopping
and use that tire set during the week.
Tires wear out by the mile
so buying a second set just means your two sets will last longer.
The big off road tires cost a lot too
and it does not make sense to wear their soft rubber out early in street duty.
With two floor jacks to lift both ends of the truck at once
you can change wheels surprisingly quickly.

HankL's idea isnent half bad itherin the long run its cheper than regearing..however you do loose that "offroad look" when driving in town on doughnuts
