Does resetting PCM erase all relearned parameters?
I have done a lot of things recently to my truck and have been a little irritated with the PCM adjusting to the changes. Every time I start the truck, it seems to have a different "mood". Sometimes it will run like a BOH and others it seems sluggish. The exhaust note changes as well, at times it is more bassy which is what I want, and at others it sounds higher pitched almost like it has a glasspack on it. When I first reset it with the new exhaust, 1.7 rr, and the TB, it would backfire loudly when letting off the throttle after hitting it a little. That has since stopped, thankfully, but the exhaust note does seem to to keep changing as well as performance each time I drive it.
I understand that the PCM needs to adjust to the new goodies, but how long should this take? I also have recently received and installed my O2 SIMM from Fastman and the CEL still is on. I want to reset the PCM to turn the CEL off, but if I do this, will it have to begin the readjustment process all over again?
I'm sure that if I get a performance flash for it based on the changes these issues would immediately be eliminated and I can quit whining. I kinda want to wait before getting any computer flash or programmer because I really want the SCT Tuner. I just want to make sure they have worked out any bugs it may have since it is fairly new, although I haven't heard too much about any end user feedback on their product. It's just irritating to have done this work to my truck, then I try to show her off and she falls short of being as impressive as she should be because she has decided to not be in the "mood"...[:@]

There are only two 'learned' items that the PCM keeps in memory,
the Adaptive Fuel Factor....similar to what others call short term fuel trim
and 'Added Adaptive Fuel Factor' which is similar to long term fuel trim
The PCM can learn this back after a reset quickly
