hi guys i got a 97 ram 4x4 v-8 auto trans went hunting the other morning shut truck off now wont start. when you turn key forward truck does not crank but reverse lights r on so i jumped the starter soliniod wire and the truck started but back up lights r on in every gear i changed the nutrual saftey switch and also unhooked the after market power door lock opener.

all fuses and relays are good but theres somthing telling the truck it's in reverse and not letting the ign switch power the soliniode.

any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated
