just take a look in the glovebox at the sticker, it should tell you what axle you have

You have a 9.25 rear axle (well the only axle on your truck).

Locker choices are kind of limited on the 9.25, but Detroit does make a full case Detroit Locker. I would personally look for a limited slip though for your 2wd. The best one out there is the Detroit Truetrac. It is gear driven unlike all the others available which are clutch type. The gear driven Truetrac will not wear out like the clutch types do. It is virtually unoticable on the street, it is nice and quiet and transfers torque without any bad characteristics. It works great in snow/ice and loose soil conditions like sand and gravel.

But if your set on a "locker", the Detroit Locker is the way to go.

Detroit is bulletproof and expensive, but like he said, not to many choices.

I new LSD will work great for what you want to do with it. I know some people on here run the Auburn and love it.
