TB Spacer?
'95 1500 5.9 gas. What will a tb spacer do? I've already got a magnaflow si/do exhaust and cai. Will it help with throttle response? Also is my tb supposed to "suck" noticibly loud? There are no leaks that I can find. I can hear it in the cab and even people who drive it notice it. It did this before the exhaust and the cai.
Step 1 - Use the search
Step 2 - Learn that a TB spacer is a waste of money and makes an excellent paperweight
Step 3 - Deal with the fact that a 5.9L sucks a ****-ton of gas but can HAUL a lot of cargo
Step 4 - Buy beer

Can I make a quick note here. Well to bad I'm going to. I hate the stock air filter set up it's just dumb. the top peice is a pain is the **** to get off and the clips on the back break to easy. grrrrr I finally went out and bought the gasket that goes between the airhat and the TB sucking noise all but gone.
As far as the tread is concerned no a TB won't do **** for these trucks. Do a search and you will quickly find out why. Also get the gasket that goes between the airhat and the TB that will help the sucking sound. Another thing I've heard that is helpful to get rid of the sucking sound is to get a fastman TB. Last buy more beer.

First- I have lots of beer! However it is cold out here and I could pro'ly store more in the garage.
Second- About a month ago I got raped by the dealer for an O2 and rewire, Asshat gasket, crackedvacuum hose replacement, and pcm.
Third- It runs good, I think it could run better.
Fourth- Cold air intake is clamped down as tight as it will go, as was the Stock asshat.
Fifth- If I cared about sucking gas, I'd drive a Prius.
But thanks anyways.

You learned not to get raped by the dealer, which happens. Get the Haynes manual for the truck, read these forums like a banshee, and start wrenching. These trucks are EASY-PEASY to repair. Dig in, Bruthu!
