mine comes on every so often. mine calls out a cyl. 5 missfire. i re-routed my spark plug wires, and made sure my pcm plug was nice and tight. it goes away, but comes back every 2 months or so.

A blinking CEL means a misfire. Be prepared to have to replace your catalytic converter if it turns out to be #6 and/or #8 that are misfiring and nothing cures the problem. A local muffler shop can pressure test the car for you.
