Default Taking Ram back to Dealer

Well, 1st. The truck has alot of under steer on it. Seems like when i change lanes i have to give it a good quarter turn to change lanes and then a good half turn in the other direction to straighten it out. Im used to driving my WS6 Trans Am and though at first i was getting used to driving a full size truck and that i had to get used to it. But, its not me.
2nd, on the highway the truck shakes at certain MPH so bad that the passenger seat will vibrate back and forth. So, its only been 2 weeks since i bought it and I HOPE they will check out the problems in alittle more detail. The truck is a 98 Extended Ram 4+4 sport and i bought it used with 89K. So, they can say "hey, you bought it as it" But, it is a big dealship up here and they should take a look at it. Anyway.. Just thought id share this with you guys.

Well, the rear tires were both 3oz. off balance.. Fixed that.
They said all the ball joints are bad. OK.. Total is 850. Said "im not paying it". Now they said they would do half.. ok fine. Do you guys know how much one side (upper and lower ball joints) will cost (parts)??.. Can do the other side at my buddies house. Just sitting here while they fix half the ball joints on the truck.. [:@] Thanks

My tire shop quoted me $300 labor to do both sides. I did it myself, parts were $150 or so.

Yah, it was $130 or so for all 4 balljoints, and my tire shop quoted $300 for labor to put them in. On a 1/2 ton it's somewhat difficult. On a 3/4 or 1 ton it's a pain in the ***.

By the way, taking your stuff to the dealership (or 'stealership' as I call it) usually costs you twice as much as an independent mechanic. Find a reputable mechanic and use them instead.
