Default Water pump leak finally fixed

I had a leak since I installed my timing chain. When I did the timing chain I replaced the water pump since I was already in there. From the factory I had a bolt on pulley style water pump, this was replaced with a press on style. There was one other diffrence with the press on style pump. The hole for the tube that goes to the heater line was larger than the factory hole leaving the tube to flop arround. I hadnt thought anything of this, figguring the o-ring and a whole mess of gasket maker would do the trick. Wrong-o, there has been a consistant leak since then. The leak was comming from the place I originally had a leak (which lead to the chain replacement), so I figgured the leak still persisted. I kept trying to patch it any way I could, and then the other day I finally decided it was the tubes fault. I took out the tube and put a spreader bar in there and hammered it out so that it was a tight fight. Making sure to apply gasket maker arround the entire tube section that gets inserted, as well as the lip of the water pump beforehand, I inserted the tube and tightened down the bolt. I let that sit overnight, then this morning I filled up the rad, and drove arround for an hour. When I got back NO LEAK! So if anyone ever comes across this problem in switching styles of water pumps, thats the simple fix.
