Default noisy PCV and PCM reset?

I got a 2000 ram 5.9 and i changed the pcv valve the other day but now it seems to rattle only when its cold and sometimes after the truck warms up...going to change the hose that goes to it and see what happens......also the ABS light came on and i fixed the rear speed sensor and i know u have to reset the PCM to get rid of the code i was wondering how long to disconnect for and if i should change the way i drive after i reset the pcm??

Thanks a million

I once had a PCV that did that. I had purchased it at some parts store (Autozone or Advanced or similar). I then replaced it with one from the dealership (genuine Mopar part), and that took care of it. The parts guy at the dealership said it is because the aftermarket ones are made differently and open under much less vacuum then they are supposed to open under, causing the rattle you hear. I use only Mopar PCV's now.

I also found that only the official Chrysler PCV valve
would stay quiet.
