Whats the factory rocker arm stud size?

5/16ths or 3/8ths?


also, why does everyone choose harland sharp over someone else like crane?

I think its 5/16s, just want someone to give me a double check on that.

I believestock is 5/16" and the HD reinforced ones are 3/8" studs.

As far as the Harland Sharps areconcerned, they're a decent product from everything I've read, but I'll wager the pavementsucks.com install article leads a few to buy them just so they have a direct bolt up and an exact part match to follow.
