Default Radiator Replament

My radiator has a leak on the right side where the side and the front or the radiators meet. I was going to replace the radiator but wanted to get some opinions on whether I should attempt to get it resealed. If I replace it, it should only cost me about $200 (self installation).

Any recommendations.

Spend the money and buy a new one. $200 is cheap. Don't spend a dollar to save a nickel.

Thanks for the tip. Great price, even with shipping. Had a friend of mine with an E-Bay ID get one for me. Maybe I'll *FINALLY* get this damned overheating issue of mine resolved.

Yeah... seems to be good!!

I did not use the OEM tranny line fittings cause I have an aftermarket cooler so I chose to bypass the radiator ATF cooler all together.

They looked like a perfect match though.

Everything else was AOK!!!

???? Put down the bong, dude!

Anyway, my friend got me that radiator from E-Bay. $122 with shipping. That's $44 cheaper than Rock Auto wants for a new one, NOT including the shipping.

If the radiator fails, what will happen to your engine? (actually nothing I know from experience how tough these engines are) get the new one.

i had mine go out on my earlier this semester i just yaned it and took to the shop they fixed it for like 80bucks, no problems now, didnt have the money for a new one. but i thought that was pretty cheap, and it only took them 2hours, but it was just the radiator tank thats all plastic, so no metal part
