Is his rear tire blown out or am I looking at it wrong?
Wrinklewall. As he's launching the tire is so sticky that it's contact patch is stuck to the ground, and the rim is turning while the tire is not. The bead of the tire moves with the rim, so the sidewall wrinkles like that.
If it weren't for the missing scoop, I would swear that was your truck. That wrinkling means some serious power! That's just like the top fuel dragsters when they run, they do the same thing. Must be nice to have to be compared to a dragster when describing something your truck can do...
Lemmee get that. BTW, his front wheels and your wheels are the 'Indy' wheels, right?
yea, the indy wheels. They are pritty nice for a stock wheel. I do have to gripe about dodge's "special" wheels they put on their trucks, they tend to pick one off sized wheels that ONLY dodge has, so it makes getting tires a PITFA.
The thing that is REALLY impressive to me, isnt so much the tire wrinkle (which IS cool as a mother F***er) but the frame flex. Take a look at the moulding on the door/bed, there is about an inch diffrence in the lines. He managed to flex a boxed pickup frame! Thats just bad ***!
