I was out wheeling today and I was running up a muddy hill in 4 low and my CEL came on. I'm pretty sure it just came on cause I over reved it, because it blinks when you over rev. It quit blinking after that but stayed on. My Oil pressure and my temp guage never acted up and I rode around for another 3 hours with it on and everything seems fine. I'm just want to reset the light and see if it's fine. If it kicks back on I'll check for a code. So anyways my question is...

How to I reset the CEL?
I realize I could have searched for this but I'm cold and wet and need to get in the shower. Thank you guys.

I also checked all the fluids and stuff after I got out of the trail and everything seems to be in order. I have an open round air cleaner and I'm wondering if maybe it sucked in some moisture and that's what set it off? Oh yeah, broke that stupid little black air dam off the bottom too. Truck looks better with it off anyway. Ifinally rememberdmy camera with me but the batteries were dead. I knew I should have checked before I left. I'll get pics next time.

 

discnect neg bat termanal, hold key to start for 30 seconds

or leave the neg terminal off for about 10 min

 

gotta turn the pcm with the bat disconnected to drain all the power out of the capaliers in it

Sweet. It worked. 50 miles later it hasn't come back on. Looks like everything is fine.
