speaking as someone who just put an HID kit on his motorcycle, trust me you don't need a high beam at all with the HIDs. I got the 6,000k kit from xenonking.com and man these things are incredible. the kit was very well put together and came with adapters to plug right into the factory harnesses. I plan to get a set for my truck too, but I also need to replace my headlight housings first.

Oh and ditto HIDs not working well with projector lenses. the high beam on my bike is a projector lens
