Default 35's with 4.56's

My dad's truck has 35 inch tires with 4.56 gears and needs a different speedo gear for his 1997 Ram. It has an automatic trans and a 231 transfer case. I know there is a site to tell you the teeth but I don't think i am doing it right nor does it give me any part numbers. Has anyone else got this combo and have an idea on the correct number of teeth or a better website to use? I don't want to recal. with a tru-speed or through the comp...to broke for that. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

..maybe your truck doesn't have a gear and only has a sensor? I'm not sure what year dodge started doing this but if it only has a sensor and no gear then you will have to go through the computer

35's with 4.56s is really nice. I have 37" tires on my dodge with a 4.10 rear end. I'm going lower such as 4.56 or maybe even 4.88but its not bad for what it is.

no it is a gear- my buddy has a jeep with the same set up- transfer case- axle gear ratio- trans- and is using a 37 tooth which seems to make it only 1-2 mph off. I ordered a 37 tooth for the truck. We shall see how it turns out! thanks for your help guys!
