Stalling, low RPM's

Stalling, low RPM's
I have a 98 Sport, 5.9, automatic trans. true duel exhaust with no cats and o2 sensors installed, PCM, ECU or whatever you call it has not been "death flashed" or updated
I've been having a problem with my truck stalling. When it's cold it starts and idles fine. But after I drive a few minutes to go into town to get gas, the bank, or any where that I have to get out and shut the truck off for a few of minutes it will stall right after I start it back up. When I get back in and start it it will just die. I have to work the brake and throttle at the same to keep the rpm's up so I can shift into gear. Then after I drive a few more minutes it will run fine. This only happens after you start the truck.
