Default How to remove body trim and stripes

I've got the '95 1500 with after market striping and paint job(not good ones either, need to be redone). Anyways it's not an Indy so I don't want the stripes. They appear to be just decals. What's the best way to take them off without ruining the paint? Also Rubber and chrome trim around the middle of the truck. Looks to be just glued on. Evidenced by the one missing piece. What will work to remove the black adhesive from the body after I pull the remainder of the trim off? I'm just going for a clean look all black with stock "Magnum" and "Dodge Ram 1500" trim.

I heat gun works great since the moulding is held on with foam tape. Same for the decals.

An eraser wheel works really well for removing adheasive.

heat, fishing line, a plastic scraper, and industrial googone.

I finished de-decaling a Fire Rescue Truck (to be painted), and those decals are worse than anything i've seen on a pickup.
