Default Need QUICK Help...

I'm sure this has been covered many times, but I have a tire question I need answered ASAP. I can get a set of wheels and 315/75R/16tires for 350 bucks because the guy needs cash bad. My question is will these fit my 1998 Ram 1500 4X4. It has the 318 and Auto Tranny if that matters. I know this has probably been covered and I am currently searching, but I was hoping for a real quick answer in the mean time so I don't miss this deal. Thanks for all the help!!

if you don't have a lift, i think those will be too big. i believe 305/75 is about as big as you can go, and they will even rub a little a full turn. somebody else will chime in a minute...

They Will be a bit big for stock, 3 inch body lift would cover it though. I'm running 285/75 wranglers and i wish i would have gotten the 305's. Mine don't even come close to rubbing

Thanks for the help. I was planning on at least a leveling kit until I can add a small lift. I was just hoping to be able to go ahead and put them on for now. It doesn't do many full turns and doesn't go off road much, if at all, this time of year. Here are the pics. What do you think?

Put em on, do a couple of turns in the parking lot and see if you can actually turn the truck enough for you liking. A 2"-3" body lift will probably be needed to prevent full on rubbing. The 2" leveling kit "might" do it.

If you want to jump on the deal right now, you can do this until you get the lift installed:

Wrap a piece of tape at 12 o'clock on your steering wheel and then at 2 points on the dash to let you know how far you can turn before they rub, then after you learn how far you can turn it, take the tape off.
