truck in sig.
i noticed on the passenger side the header is fastened with 4 bolts and 2 studs with nuts.
is it the same on the drivers side as well?
are the stock studs/bolts long enough for the pacesetters?
and how hard are the studs to get out?
i plan on replacing all the fasteners with new ones when i get the tubes..
thanks.

mine snapped... what a friggen pain!!! i ended up not having to pull the head off and was able to drill out the stud,, recut the same threads back in and then re chase them.. the new bolt doesnt grab untill a bit latter then the rest/normally do.. but it holds the tq setting so itll stay for now.. LOADS of loctite
search the net for header bolts that are self tightening.. cant remember what they are called but there are a few different styles.. ones with little allen head set screws at the head bolt and the actual bolt is split in a 4 way.. screw in the set screw and it presses each 4 sides into the thread chase...
another style have keeper clips that are saposed to keep from backing out
ive seen some header bolts drilled and saftey wired in and that works REALLY well..but a SUPER pain if your heads and/or motor is still in the truck.. and sucks if you blow a gasket
mine come loose every now and then.. especially during seasonal changes .. just comes with the territory..
