What is this morbid fascination with BL? Puts a ****load of pressure on the body mounts and looks like ***. If you want to lift the truck, put in a 3" suspension lift. It actually is useful offroad, and allows you to run 35's (MAYBE 37's with minimal trimming). Then you have to get into the extra $$$ for gears, bla bla, bla.

But then again, the whole pre-runner thing escapes me.

Just off the top of my head...
-Extra engine compartment room
-Price
6" suspension lift = 2-3k
3" suspension lift+ 3" Body lift =1k
and ability to run 35-36 inch tires without eating the fenders or doing anycutting.

about 90% of the lifts that saysit is a 6" is really only about a 4"Find the lift u one, find a truck with it and really mesure it. Very few lifts are true to what they say it is. Fabtech i know for a fact on a 97 is a true 5'5

Yes. I know Fabtech and Pro Comp make a 3 inch suspension lift for your truck. Also Fabtech makes a 3.5" suspension lift for you rig. Check out http://www.truckperformance.com they have the 3.5" Fabtech on sale for $650 ish with shocks included. Not sure if thats the best price around but it can get you started.
