1999 Keyless Entry
I just bought a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT and was wondering if there is anyway to tell if I have keyless entry installed. The dealership told me it would be $460 to install it but I think I'll just use the key if it's going to cost that much. The guy who sold it to me didn't give me a remote but since it's SLT I figured it would have it. I've heard that if the passenger door has a key hole then it's not but I dont know if that holds true on the older models. Thanks in advance.

RE: 1999 Keyless Entry
Check you fuse panel on the driver's side down by the door and the relay panel in the Power Distibution Center (black box next to battery). the Diagrams are on the cover. I'm 90% sure one of them said keyless entry, if you don't have a fuse or relay in the labeled spot, you don't have keyless entry.
