Default Plow Mount Strength

My Ram has a plow mount up front which I think I want to keep incase I purchase a plow down the road... But the mount removes the tow hooks up front... How strong is the mount it self? Could it work as a recovery point off road?

Default RE: Plow Mount Strength

i had a western unimount on my old dakota and it went through hell and back. I used it to anchor to, to get pulled out of the mud a couple times and it never had a problem. Have a western ultra mount on the ram now and wouldnt be afraid. But that's me
