RE: Oh crap does anyone know how to put an engine toghether?
Here's a trick I use to eliminate air pockets when I re-fill the antifreeze.
Manually push open your thermostat when you have it out of the engine and slide two aspirin (yes plain aspirin) into the thermostat to hold it partially open. Then complete the installation of the thermostat. Fill your radiator completely with your desired antifreeze/water mix.
The aspirin hold the thermostat open long enough to allow all of the air bubbles to leave the engine and then they completely dissolve. By using this method I have never had an air pocket issue.
Hope it helps.

When putting the intake manifold on make sure you drop it straight down and do not move it around after it is in place.
The front and rear gaskets can get pushed out of place. (Ask me how I know)
I found my rear gasket pushed out right after I finished torqing the manifold. I had to take it back off and decided to use silicone instead of the rubber gaskets.
Since the manifold is somewhat heavy and you cant stand directly over the engine and drop it on... you might need an extra set of hands to help guide it into place.
Another site recommended grinding the heads off of the old manifold bolts and use them as dowels.
