need 9.25 parts
Yesterday i went to put in my locker (richmond lockrite) I got everything out and apart only to find that one of the thrust washers on the side spider gears is trashed. Auto zone and all other auto stores I tryed doesnt have them, dealer proably wants $$$..
Does anyone know of a better place I can order them or get them... or about what the dealer would charge for them?
Thanks

i didn't think you re-used any of the original parts from your old carrier setup. mine is the no-slip (as opposed to your lockright), and it contained new splined couplings for both sides, and all the guts around the pinion shaft.
pics of noslip. it only had 4 parts, a shaft, and a few springs.

No, its the thrust washers from the side of the origional side spider gears.
It says right in the manual that if they arent perfect they need to be replaced.
With out them its just going to tear up the side of your carier and the driver of the locker...
Ill go double check the manual but I know it has to have them to work correctly.

Yup, I double checked it says you need to reuse the original thrust washers from the factory side spiders...
"the lockrite is designed to be used with a correct thrust washer under each coupler, and failure to use this washer is easy to observe during inspection and will void the warenty"
It says it all on page 3 and 4 of the manual...
Im not trying to prove you wrong, im just making sure that you dident put it together wrong...

my mistake. Lock-Right re-uses the thrust washers and requires specific measurement and tolerances. No-Slip does not use any at all. manuals here..

I'd just go get them from dodge. I mean if you really don't want to go there, looks like a junkyard might beyour next best choice. Personally i'd just put out a little money at the dealer for something like that. Honestly, how much could it be / how tight are you? lol... Take a look over here. He mentions buying a Thurst Washer service pack from dodge for $30 bux which comes with 4 different sizes or something he says. Wish you luck!

Ya, I have the money to do it, I just hate going to the dealer because its always such an ordeal trying to get the service guys to understand what im talking about and order me the right parts... Everyone at this dealer**** is really stupid.
