Default PA 3" Body Lift Install

To those who have installed it, I have a few questions...

Did you need to use the gas filler lines?
Did you have to mess with the shift linkages?
Brake cables?

Basically when I did a 1" on my Jeep I just needed to slide the pucks in and move the fan shroud... How much more involved on a Ram is it?

Did you need to use the gas filler lines? Yes, they will need to be extended.

Did you have to mess with the shift linkages? Yes, the rod comming from the column down the outside of the firewall has a block that will need to be loosened and slid down. Re-adjust in neutral and then check park for starting. Also your 4X4 shifter is curved and will need the extention rod added to clear the floor.

Brake cables? Just remove the lines from the clips under the master cylinder and they should flex OK. The parking brake cable may need to have the frame clip relocated, just check. The instructions are very good and just take your time and check stuff.

May also want to keep an eye on the wire bundle under the rubber at the top rear of engine for tension while raising. I snipped the two center ty-raps to allow mine to droop. The vaccuum line and ground wire in the same area need to be watched. As far as the rear bumper, just raise the bumper with the brackets still on and drillnew holes in the brackets and or frame to put at new height.
