i am trying to install new lower ball joint on my driver side we have tried using a ball joint remover/install tool but we get it it in a little bit and keep it straight but we cant get it to move after a little bit of the groves getting in weve tried freezing the joint and putting it in with tool greasing it up and greasing and freezing but it still wont budge does any1 know another way to get it in besides using hydro press i can use on tommorow but i want it done today and the control arm is off the truck now any help would be greatly appreciated thanks its on a 1999 dodge ram 1/2 2wd

 

Try heating the area on the control arm around the ball joint. Also soak the ball joint in PB blaster or WD40 overnight.
