Default Need some help with tires....

Hey Guys, Iam looking at getting new tires for my Ram. I have a 1999 Ram 1500 ext. cab.with 16 in. wheels. I bought the truck with bridgestone dueler A/T revos LT265/75R16. I will be looking to go bigger, without having to lift the truck. If i cant, i cant o well. But i am looking at the BFG All-Terrains, and also the same duelers again. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
I have a while but i want to start lokking around so any input would help me out. Thanks.

Go with the BFG ATs.Great tire. Youshould be able to fit 285 75/16's on there without a lift.

The BFG is an awesome tire... thats what I'd do, and I've worked around tires for a while.

I have a 4x4 sport model and i had to lift the front at least an inch because turn it to the left or right just in the right spot hitting a hole would cause the tire to rub the fender. the only way to fix it is to lift it at least an inch.

Yeah, or just not lock your steering wheel out when you're going over a bump...
285s will be fine.

Suggest you get the mud terrain though not the allterrain

What type of terrain do you drive in? BFG A/T's are a very good tire, but they suck in mud. They pack up really fast, and do not clean out at all. Otherwise, they are great in most other conditions.

the bfg at is a good all around tire i but 35000 miles on a set and still had half the tread left they do not do well in lets say muddy conditions out of the ordinary range of most drivers but they do all right for just driving down muddy roads the bfg mt which i have know on one of my 97 4x4s is a great mud tire and will run down the highway better than most mud tires if only they still made the bridgestone dueler mt best all around mude tire ever in my opinion
